As we all know COVID-19 has taken a toll on all of us, especially the music industry, but that hasn’t stopped the band from persevering through these tough times and keeping our spirits high during lockdown. With a combination of zoom and fun music challenges, we have all strived to keep learning and working as much as possible.
Band rehearsals this term were quite unusual but we still had fun and improved our musical abilities. During our Zoom rehearsals we played musical games which Janella made such as Zoom Whispers, Chat Challenge and The Rhythm Challenge. We all strived to win these challenges and gain points. Recently, we had themed band rehearsals where we wore our pyjamas or played a musical Kahoot. Even though we couldn’t meet face to face for band we still had loads of fun and got to catch up with our fellow band members.
