Dear parents of Kindergarten 2026 students,
As we prepare to welcome your child to the OLGC school community, we would like to share some important information and upcoming dates with you.
Your child will receive a t-shirt as a gift from OLGC Forestville in late September. This will be distributed at their current preschool or day care centre, as listed on the enrolment form. We encourage your child to wear the t-shirt to each of the three school transition sessions.
There is no need to bring anything to the sessions, as water will be provided if needed. These sessions are exclusively for Kindergarten 2026 students; and parents are not required to attend.
All sessions will run from 9:30am -10:50am on the following dates:
- Thursday, 23 October – includes a parent information session from 9:40am – 10:30am in the library.
- Thursday, 6 November
- Thursday, 20 November

We encourage your child to attend all three sessions to help them become familiar with the school environment, the Kindergarten teaching team, and their future classmates.
A brief, optional information session for parents will take place in the library on Thursday, 23 October at 9:40am-10:30am. Parents interested in attending can register here.
