The Diocese of Broken Bay Early Learning Centre at Our Lady of Good Counsel Forestville, is a joint project between the Diocese of Broken Bay Catholic Schools Office, Our Lady of Good Counsel School Forestville, CatholicCare Diocese of Broken Bay and supported by the Parish of Frenchs Forest.
The physical facilities for this project were supported by funding provided through the Commonwealth Government’s “Building the Education Revolution” program (BER).
The Forestville Early Learning Centre offers the following:
- Caters for 3-5 year olds.
- The centre operates from 8.00am – 3.30pm during school terms. Children from the Forestville Early Learning Centre have access to After School Care from 3.30pm-6pm on Monday to Thursday. Please note there is no after school care on Fridays. You can contact oshc.forestville@catholiccaredbb.org.au to enrol your child.
- The centre is informed by best practice early years research in the provision of quality early learning experiences.
- Provides curriculum which is aligned to the National Early Years Learning Framework.
- Is staffed by university trained Early Childhood Teachers and other early childhood professionals with appropriate qualifications.
- Provides a rich play-based learning experience in a caring environment underpinned by Catholic ethos.
