
O.L.G.C Forestville Shines in “Australia, My Country” Competition
We are thrilled to announce the exceptional achievements of our students in the “Australia, My Country” competition, proudly sponsored by the Forestville sub-Branch of the Returned & Services League of Australia. This esteemed competition, conducted in collaboration with school principals and teachers, aims to enhance students’ sense of pride and patriotism through writing and art.

These fabulous results are a testament to the talent and hard work of our students. We are incredibly proud of the creativity and dedication of our young artists and writers.
School-Wide Recognition:
In addition to these individual accolades, our school was one of the top three schools in terms of the number of entries submitted. As a result, we have been awarded $500 for our school library. This generous prize will allow us to expand our library’s collection, fostering a love of reading and learning among our students.
Awards Presentation:
The awards presentation was held on Saturday, 15 June at the Forestville RSL. It was a memorable event, honouring the hard work and creativity of all participants. Bob Lunnon, Forestville RSL club president congratulated OLGG on the high number of entries in the competition It was a fitting commemoration of respect, for those who serve.
