School Uniform

At Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic School, part of being a Respectful Learner includes the expectation that we care for our appearance. This means wearing our school uniform with pride and maintaining neat grooming.

Please ensure your child’s hair is neat and tidy, tied back.  If it falls below the shoulders, it should be tied back.  Your child’s hair should remain in its natural colour and only school-coloured ribbons/ hair ties should be used.

Hats are essential and should be worn before school, recess and lunch. Please help your child check they have their hat each day.

A reminder too that make up, nail polish/ acrylic nails and excessive jewellery should be saved for weekends and school holidays. For safety – especially during sport – only one simple pair of earrings- studs or sleepers, and a simple necklace/ bracelet are permitted.

Please ensure your child’s name is clearly marked on all uniform items, especially hats and jumpers/ jackets.

Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic School has a summer and winter school uniform, and a sports uniform.

Families will be notified of sport days via the class teacher, newsletter or e-mail.

Second Hand Uniform Shop Opening Hours

Regular opening hours are Wednesdays before and after school: 8:30 – 9:15am and 2:45 – 3:30pm.

The shop is run kindly by our parent volunteer, Silvana Mares.

To speed up the process of purchasing second hand items we encourage parents to place an order via email to the school office olgc@dbb.catholic.edu.au on the order form above. When the order is ready you will be phoned to provide your credit card details. The order will be sent home with your eldest child.

Purchasing good quality second hand uniform items enables parents to purchase uniform items at a reduced price whilst still fulfilling the uniform requirements.

The second hand uniform shop is located next door to the school office at the front of the school.

Uniform Donations

If you have uniform items which your children have outgrown, please drop them to the front office (give them a wash first!). They will be resold through the second hand uniform shop and all money raised goes directly back to the school via the P&F. Donations are needed for most items sized 8 and larger.

Please note that the second-hand uniform shop does not sell items on behalf of parents. All items have been kindly donated by OLGC families.
