1-2-3 Magic Parenting Program

Date: Tuesdays 3, 10 & 17 March 2026
Time: 7.30pm – 9.00pm
Location: Online
Fee: Free

Target age group 2-12yrs

A fantastic opportunity to learn effective techniques for managing children’s behaviour in a positive, constructive way.

 

This three-week online course is designed for parents of children aged 2 to 12 years, providing practical strategies to stop unwanted behaviours, encourage cooperation, and strengthen the parent-child relationship, without arguments or shouting.

 

Managing Kids Screen Time

Session Date: Tuesday 31st March 2026

Time: 7:30pm – 8.45pm  

Location: Online

Target age group 4-16yrs

This practical session with parenting educator Genevieve Muir will help you:

  • Understand why screens are so hard to manage – for both kids and adults.
  • Learn why some children struggle more with screens and how to support them
  • Set clear, age-appropriate screen-time boundaries that work
  • Reduce screen-related meltdowns and arguments.
  • Make informed decisions about phones, YouTube, and social media.
  • Feel more confident and in control of your family’s screen use.

Tuning into Teens Dee Why

Session Dates: Fridays 27 Feb, 6, 13, 20, 27 March

Time: 10.00am – 12.00pm

Location: PCYC – Multipurpose Room 40 Kingsway Dee Why

Target age group 11-16yrs

This 6-week course for parents of teenagers will provide you with skills in emotion coaching and help you recognise, understand and regulate, in order to work through your young person’s emotions. It focuses on the development needs of teenagers and how to respond to their needs when being rejected or pushed away.

These programs are fully funded for parents residing in the following LGAs: Hornsby, Ku-ring-gai, Willoughby, Lane Cove, Mosman, North Sydney, and Northern Beaches. Please note that we do not accept registrations out of area.
