Forestville RSL sub-Brand Remembrance Day Education Grants Program ( EGP ).

We are delighted to announce that the Forestville RSL sub-Branch has agreed to the introduction of an annual Remembrance Day Education Grants Program (EGP).

The grant, worth $2,000, is open to eligible applicants from your School who will be entering Year 7 in 2023, to assist with the cost of school uniforms and computer equipment as they transition to high school.

To be eligible for the grant, applicants must be able to meet two of the following criteria:

(1) be the child of a serving Australian Defence Force(ADF) member living and schooling within the Forestville RSL sub-Branch geographic area contained within the postcodes of 2084 (but excluding Cottage Point), 2085, 2086, 2087, or 2100 (but excluding Brookvale, North Manly and Warringah Mall)

or
(2) be the child of the family of a Service member of the Forestville RSL sub-Branch (whether the Service member is living or deceased) living and schooling within the Forestville RSL sub-Branch geographic area

or
(3) be the child of the family of a Service member of any RSL sub-Branch (whether the Service member is living or deceased) living and schooling within the Forestville RSL sub-Branch geographic area
and

the child is entering Year 7 of High School the year after the application is made.

Please note that we have defined the family of a Service member of the RSL Forestville RSL sub-Branch or any RSL sub-Branch to include the children, grandchildren or direct descendant of the Service member.

Hand Ball Competition

Reminder to all Year 1 and above students that the Term 3 Handball Competition is on this Sunday. OLGC were the champions in Term 1 and runners up in Term 2 so we need to hold on to the podium finish with a solid team of kids from each year. More details below and how to book:
