Children entering Kindergarten are each paired with a special Buddy from Year 5 or Year 6.
These older students help the younger children settle into school life by offering guidance, friendship, and reassurance. Buddies often check in during break times and provide a familiar, friendly face for the younger students.
Occasionally, the Year 5 and Year 6 Buddies also visit Kindergarten classrooms to assist and spend time with their younger friends, strengthening the bond between students across year levels.
